This job was a cool way to see how the video game industry works at a Quality Assurance level. Putting in the work of reporting bugs to the game devs and seeing games before they are released to the public is awesome. However, as for the company itself, their business ethics do NOT make any sense whatsoever. In order to keep any sort of employment here, you need to be a kiss up to leads and managers.

Also, the bullying that happens to new hires is ridiculous. But the existing staff Leads. They rather you find nasty visual bugs and report those to the devs. The only positive thing I can really say about this position was the full time, Monday through Friday schedule. And the guaranteed breaks. Pros Consistent schedule, guaranteed breaks, pizza parties sometimes.

Management was just the absolute worse. Hardest part was the pay, you get paid less the McDonalds down the street. Moving up is impossible, as soon as you get a position to move up they term you. The job culture here is amazing. I loved it there, unfortunately you work insanely long hours come crunch time. It's not so bad once you get the pay check. Job security isn't too great if you don't hit your numbers while on the temp contract but it is possible to do it.

Another unfortunate, a lot of young kids apply here and it introduces high school culture. Lots of cliques, lots of rumors spread. There are really good people here though and a lot of awesome managers.

It was real simple once after learning for a week of training. Loved it soon as I got on the floor and started testing the games I found so many bugs it helped out alot.

I was exciting to see my work being used even though I was a lower level employee. A fantastic place to work at. Working for 2k literally changed my life.

After a summer or one year, find a more fulfilling job. Learned few testing systems and tools. It wasn't bad. But overall, working there wasn't great either. Especially the location was bad for me. Too many tourists, too far parking lot, horrible traffic.

When moving to a full time employee you get a small raise of 50 cents. There is a lot of overtime in game testing and some in customer service which is usually voluntary.
